I hope everyone in Brandon gets out this coming Monday, 25 November to cast your vote in the upcoming federal bi-election. I think everyone knows that it is important to ensure that the Conservatives do not get back in, and based on the current polls, it looks like there is a decent chance that Liberal candidate Rolf Dinsdale has momentum and could get in. I know there are a lot of NDP and Green supporters in Brandon, but I also know that this bi-election could become a momentum changer for the next federal election to be held in 2015. I hope everyone thinks about what it would mean for a Conservative knock-out this time around, and instead of casting your usual NDP / Green vote that are both polling substantially lower, consider the alternative. I do not intend to tell you how to vote, but if you are an NDP or Green supporter, I would ask that (at the very minimum) you think about what your vote will really mean this time around. Come Monday, I hope everyone takes the time out of their day to grab family and friends, and get out the vote, and make a statement for the nation, that we want change in the way this government operates. The rest of the country will be watching!!!
