I hope its not just part of the aging process (not 60 yet, but gaining on it), but when I come to Facebook, I am always astounded with its absurdity/scariness. First of all, it lists me as living in Richardson, Texas, where Ive never lived in my life. 2nd, it always is changing, and on my rare visits I spend most of my time trying to figure out what has happened. 3rd) I find it revealing snippets of my private conversations with people, which is about as troubling as anything I can imagine. If you receive notifications that Ive deleted a message from you, its because something we discussed privately showed up in the public timeline. That is unforgivable, and is why I will never have another conversation on Facebook. If you want to talk to me, send me your email address in a private message on Facebook. Ill delete it and write to you in email. Im about this far >| |< from going back to the US Mail, using paper, ink, postage stamps, and envelopes. Trouble is, I only have peoples email addresses these days. I hope Ive misjudged Facebook, because it seems to be the default social gathering place online. But I have not been able to grow to like it. Its just too invasive of privacy, too controlling of its members, and too difficult to keep track of. I literally dont know how some of it works anymore, and if I figure it out, it changes next time I come around. So, it says what is on your mind, and this is whats on my mind. Pretty much every time I visit, this is whats on my mind. Shooshie/MG Roberts
