I hope my liberal 9th Grade English teacher enjoys the essay i just wrote her. During the last year theres been much controversy in American Politics, from the NSA scandal to the trial of George Zimmerman. Some issues are ones that are solved and resolved quickly and life goes on, however there is one train wreck of a law in particular that will not just Go Away. This law is known as the Affordable Care Act better known as Obama Care the law is meant to provide Affordable healthcare to every single American Citizen and also allow parents to keep their children on their plan until they reach age 26. Now all this may sound great and some may be ecstatic about it being inducted into American Law, this is how it seams on the surface. This essay is written from the perspective of an American Patriot who is concerned about the direction America is going in, by the end of this essay if you will be suspicious about President Obamas Signature piece of legislation, if you werent already suspicious. Since the beginning of President Obamas campaign for the office of President hes spoken about reforming our healthcare system. This was back in 2008, we are now in 2013 in the Presidents second term in office and ObamaCare is slowly but surely being forced on the American people. Since the launch of WWW.Healthcare.gov on October 1, 2013 ObamaCare has shown the essence of flaw. The website is plagued by internal server issues and lack of responsiveness, yet rather then accept that the launch of the website was a total failure and take the blame himself President Obama decides to do what he does best, Blame the Republicans. Ah yes The Republicans the Presidents favorite Get out of Jail Free card. It seams rather then putting 100% of his effort towards fixing the damaged system The President thinks its a better idea to blame Republicans who were agenst the Affordable Care Act since it was proposed! Since the Launch of healthcare.gov on October 1, 2013 the Presidents approval rating has plummeted! 41% of Americans think that ObamaCare should be Repealed. and 48% of Americans think Obamacare needs major changes. ONLY 11% Of Americans think that ObamaCare is working. That is 89% of Americans who think ObamaCare is not working. (41% + 48% = 89%) Obama has imposed yet another Socialist Goverment solution to something that did not need fixing in the first place! The only Change Im hoping for is that Obamacare is defunded. The Left (Democrats & Liberals) would have you believe that ObamaCare is providing affordable healthcare options to ALL American Citizens. When in fact the exact opposite is going on! Before ObamaCare was imposed only about 30,000 American Citizens were without Health Insurance and I must remind you, that ws their choice either by inability to afford it or they felt they didnt need it. Now that Obamacare has been imposed the amount of people who have had their EXISTING plan canceled and now are without insurance because their previous plan did not meet new Government regulations is : 4.2 Million Americans. However there is a bright side Obama did say I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me(-President Obama) That makes it all better right? Wrong! ObamaCare is a TRAIN WRECK an estimated 50Million more plans could be canceled due to ObamaCare regulations. To Conclude, Obama has unleashed a Plauge agenst the American people. The Birthplace of the American civilization did something very similar to ObamaCare, In England there is Health Care regulated by the Government. Guess what, It didnt work. There are now less doctors in England then ever before. The system has failed numerous times in other countries yet Obama seams to think that his version despite all of its very dominant flaws will somehow work. There is only one way to pull the country out of the grave and revive it! defund, Repeal , & Replace ObamaCare, Its not working now and never will.
