I hope people dont take this as a joke in the least. Wali was only 35 mile an hour winds with a few gusts and windward Maui got nailed and people barely noticed. I feel like a lot of my suggestions to people about tree work falls on deaf ears Or they dont want to drop a little cash to save their home from potential danger. Those who have I proud of you! The county does bit have the funds or resources to maintain all the fastidious growth and there will always be trees down, as well as limbs on lines and power poles, and across roads and its up to civilians to help out identifying hazards. Somethings obviously cannot be accounted for though! Know that there are many trees with decay columns sometimes considerable heights above their trunks that may seem healthy but are not structurally sound. Be safe everyone on Maui and Big Island and wherever these events may happen. Its hard to be away from home but on the other side Im very blessed to be on Andros Island in Greece, though concerned about the well being of that little tiny island I live on names Maui and everyone in it. Its hard to be away for this. Last summer I left in August and 2 people were killed and others attacked by sharks. Now its Hurricanes/Cyclones/ Tropical Depressions and Wali the Collapsing Thunderstorm Wow I Love You Hawaii!!! Stay Safe People!!! and I want to see pictures please. Wear a helmet though haha! Time to have a Greek Coffee with my aunt and go play in the Aegean! Take it easy on em Iselle and Julio please!!! ( unedited version ;) )
