I hope that the new year will be kinder to us all, and that we in return, will be kinder to one another. I am still lost in this world, but I have learned a thing or two for certain: Doing what is right feels good. Being gentle with yourself as well as others is a better route than harboring anger, fear, or jealousy. And never, ever forget that simply to live, even in the deepest of gutters, is better than not getting a second chance everyday to be a little better.
