Since the early 2000s, the many monikered Swedish producer Andreas Tilliander has put out some of glitch-techno’s most seminal records. His latest, TM404 – is a tribute to a handful of genre-defining Roland drum machines from the 1980s, with tracks recorded in real time and no work done in post. Conjuring up polyrhythmic, hypnotic dub melodies, which he refers to as “somnolent acid,” he is a perfect complement to the Thursday night lineup for Hawtin’s ENTER.MUTEK. TM404, son nouveau projet, est un hommage aux boîtes à rythme Roland des années 1980. Il les enregistre en temps réel et najoute aucun traitement supplémentaire. Invoquant des mélodies polyrythmiques aux accents dub hypnotiques quil qualifie d« acid somnolente », il fait un parfait soutien au line up de la soirée de Richie Hawtin, ENTER.MUTEK.
