I hope those challenged have at least donated something for such an important cause.. CONGENITAL HEART DEFECTS are becoming more common & need the funding to better future research. So many parents, siblings, grand parents, aunts, uncles & cousins have lost someone young & innocent to CHDs. As a Mom of two of these little warriors I have been at their bedside unable to do anything as they have fought for their lives on many occasions. I can tell you it is beyond HARD to know your babies heart & life rest in the hands of a cardiac medical team. You have to put all of your hope & faith into a special group that have dedicated their lives to saving our CHD Babies. It is only right that the medical team has the best & up to date know how about each CHD. I know that I am thankful for all of the past & present innovations that have made their operations easier for them. None of these things would be possible without constant research of a growing problem. I know that heart issues affect & take more lives than any other illness or cancer out there SO WHY ISNT MORE BEING DONE? Our Heart Warriors deserve more recognition & the cause deserves more support to better research.
