I hope we dont have a little escape artist. Came home from getting some things at the store to find the chicks peeping more than usual. Glance down once and do a count and start to walk away when I go back and recount and only see three chicks. Here Bourbon, the smallest one, some how escaped out through the holes in the dog crate we have them in. There is about a foot perimeter of cardboard so that they dont go through except for a small spot that was cut away because the cats kept looking in. Listened for the errant cheeping and found her underneath a chair. reached over it while she was watching me and got her. Once she was in general population (chick style), everyone calmed down. Silly chicks.
