I hope you all enjoy your petroleum based products on this great Saturday evening. Phones, computers, tires, asphalt, and my person sarcastic favorite reason us guys out here have forgot what the term weekend refers to, prescription meds... Did you know that the world uses something like 90 million barrels of petroleum per day? That is not only talking about gasoline for those of you who only ride a bike. Now, dont get me wrong. I try harder than most folks I know to recycle, drink only from glass bottles, and pick up pieces of trash on the ground constantly and would absolutely love if we could go back in time to where things were made from wood and steel and cars didnt exist. However, it appears people of today are relying on petroleum and unfortunately very wasteful. By the way, I have been seeing tons of job postings in Russia on the oilfield consultant websites for about a month now but, the require that you be a Russian national. I also keep seeing post on Facebook about Russia, America, and politic junk. Anyone care to enlighten me on what the media is saying about Russia???
