I hope your Thanksgiving was perfect and that you ate too much. - TopicsExpress

I hope your Thanksgiving was perfect and that you ate too much. One day a year, right?! We had a slow week last week. Crimes were down, incidents were low, making for a pretty good week. I don’t have much to report, indicating that maybe everyone was out buying new TVs or Furbys. So, with much ado about nothing, here’s the weekend recap: A deputy observed a vehicle at about 4:40 am on Black Friday stop in the lane of travel on Hwy 89. The car then took off and drove varying speeds, between 40-100 mph. The vehicle also ran two red lights, before the deputy was able to get them stopped in the South Weber area. After calling the driver back to him, the deputy was finally able to determine that the vehicle was full of teenagers who were out shopping for deals. I’m glad they were able to save so much money shopping the Black Friday deals . . . STOLEN VEHICLE: A 2005 maroon Ford Explorer was stolen from West Point Dec 1st sometime between 5:45 and 7:30 pm. The vehicle had been parked inside the garage of a home on the 1600 W. block of 200 S. The victims left for church and stated they closed their garage door, but possibly the side door had been left unlocked. The Explorer has an easily identifiable, large “Malaya Sports” sticker in the rear window, with a Utah license number of B437SU. If you see this vehicle, or have any information regarding this or any other crime, please “Submit a Tip” (can remain anonymous) or contact the Sheriff’s Office at 801-451-4150. 52 Calls for Paramedic service 146 Incidents 6 Arrests 1 DUI 1 Turkey Lots of Stuffing Quote of the Day: “We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves strong.
