I just attended a luncheon at work that the speaker was a USAF LT COL who flies Air Force Search & Rescue in HH-60s...the reason that this speaker is a true American Hero...he was the pilot that flew the HH-60 that picked up the Lone Suvivor, Marcus Luttrell . Lt Col Petersens presentation was classic...his unit was a back up during the whole search operation and it wasnt until hrs before the actual pick up that he finds out he is flying the actual pick up...weather, darkness , hostiles and postage stamp LZ with a droff off on one side an a side of a mountain on the other...movie disclaimer...not a flat area village with beat up cars.
