I just cant wait till Gary is home. We see the doctor in 2 days and I will ask him for home health care. Im pretty confident I can do what they are doing at the Nursing facility!!! Gary is beginning to be frustrated because they are treating him like a sick person and he is not. He is a healing person with a fantastic brain. They talk to him like he is feeble, I hate it. Then they get to know him and realize he is really a smart cookie that cant talk. Friday cant come quick enough! Thanks everybody for the cards he really enjoys getting them everyday. I did a bit of grocery shopping today and it felt good to do something normal. With him so close to home I can take breaks during the day, do a few things, go back and see him for longer periods of time. I think this was the part Gary said he would be frustrated with. Things not healing quick enough. He wants to get back to our regular lives. The operation didnt scare him one bit. The recuperating and healing are the tough part that he said would be hard. He gets mad when they dont feed him on time because he knows he needs his strength to get stronger and come home. I have never seen Gary get really disgusted but today they missed his 9:00 tube feeding and he was pretty unhappy. I had to tell the nurse that we cannot miss another meal. I think they will be on time from now on, I hope so cause they are messing with the Dumms!!! Thats it for now.
