I just completed this full-size emu sculpture for a commission. Im really happy with it. I used barbed wire for the feathers. Very tricky stuff to work with, barbed wire... It is to be indsalled in a garden together with an infant emu sculpture (which I am starting today) and two emu eggs, which i will turn from timber. So this is actually a male emu, because it is the father who sits on the nest waiting for the eggs to hatch, and does all of the child rearing. More pictures to follow of the installation.
