I just dont know about Room 237 (the documentary about The Shining). Im not sure a movie can be about Native Americans, the Holocaust, Theseus and The Minotaur, Stanley Kubrick faking the moon landing, and a crazed axe-murder trying to kill his family in a closed up hotel in the mountains (among other things) all at the same time. I mean, there was a lot of compelling references, but it felt like there was just as much grasping at straws. I do love The Shining though, and Id like to think that Stanley Kubrick was a master filmmaker. Either way, it certainly did reveal some little hidden gems I had missed.
