I just dont know how I feel about this. I dont want to sound like I dont think those with spinal cord injuries need assistance. But is this really it? Also, KY Sen. John Schickel says hes doing this for a friend. Im not sure if that is appropriate way to get bills passed. Im pretty sure there are lots of issues being brought to them on a daily basis, like stiffer animal cruelty legislation, that pretty much are ignored by lawmakers. I know that Sen Schickel has not responded to one single email Ive sent him. So, does that mean you have to be friends with a lawmaker to make change in Kentucky? Its how it appears to me.
