I just finished reading someones post on complaining about immigrants coming to canada and changing our celebrations from halloween to spirit day and not being allowed to decorate or celebrate christmas in schools nor easter etc... NOW, lets try and remember what men from Europe did to the Indians when they came over and discovered Canada ...which is why we now celebrate christmas and all these other holidays..NOT that i agree with others coming in and dictating what we can or cannot do in stores or schools etc. All these holidays are false occasions to make the govt money which is why they began in the first place. These holidays began with winter, spring, summer and fall solstices ..a celebration of the new season and change of light by the Indians that were HERE in Canada FIRST. Where did that go once white english and french men came here..which were in the government who brought with them their manmade religions and holidays to change them!! Otherwise we would be speaking Indian and following indian traditions and there would be NO christmas, no easter, etc... AND an FYI: Thankgiving was created after a group of people killed off and/or enslaved indians and celebrated cause they got all there food and ways of how to have food in the winter!! SO!..why are we thankful and stuffing our faces?? SO, if YOU dont want immigrants to come over and change us,,then we need to go back to the very first group of people that were already here and live the way they did, celebrate Indian traditions and respect for mother earth, which CLEARLY isnt happening with the WHITE/FRENCH government that we currently have since they INVADED AND TOOK OVER!!..so get off yur high horse about crying over not being able to celebrate christmas or halloween in yur kids school..imagine what you woulda felt like if you were the indian that was here first and had yur children stolen from you and raped and bred into being white..THAT is what your/our govt did..THAT is worth complaining about! DONT get me wrong, I love halloween..but for different reasons. I go by ancient traditions and beliefs. It was said that on hallows eve the moon and the energies opened a portal for negative entities to manifest into reality. And the only way to be rid of negative entities/energies was to dress up in an evil looking way to ward off the evil. ..and you thot it was about buying candy and then paying the dentist to fix yur rotted teeth..govt run, govt run, govt run..DO WHAT YOU FEEL IS RIGHT FOR YOU without forcing what you believe onto others! God/Source has many mansions.
