I just finished seeing a kid at school. The child comes from a very impoverished family and his shoes were falling to pieces. The shoes were talking and the padding inside the shoes was completely gone and he only had the rubber grid under the padding as support. The school nurse came into the session with 2 brand new pair of tennis shoes, still in the box, for him to choose from. His face lit-up and he was over-joyed! He said, people wont pick on my shoes anymore!. I was informed that Rack Room Shoes on St. Augustine road donates the shoes to the school! Please support rack room shoes! They are doing great things and giving back to the local community, despite being a corporate chain! I took time out to personally thank the manager and share my story with him, & also called their corporate office to thank them. If youre in rack room shoes in the future, please take the time to thank a manager for helping kids smile! Also, please feel free to share this status to let everyone know about the great things rack room is doing for kids in our community!
