I just finished watching Kill Team. I cannot speak from personal - TopicsExpress

I just finished watching Kill Team. I cannot speak from personal experience, but it seems like some people are asked to walk a grey line of morality and killing. I feel for people who are put in a situation, or sometimes born into a situation where they have to survive in the moment, and then possibly get prosecuted for surviving. This is true for those in the military, it is true for police officers, and it is true for people in gangs. Sometimes if you do not kill you may be killed, and I cant imagine that is ever an easy decision to make. It may be easy for me to sit back and take a moral stance, but chances are I will never know what its like to be in a life or death situation, and that is why I have a hard time judging the morality of when killing is justified and when it is murder. I believe one of the hardest things to do in life is to forgive, and if we believe in the part of the justice system includes mercy, then being in a situation where your task possibly includes taking a life is never simple, because there is a life taken and a someone who is taking a life. pbs.org/independentlens/kill-team/
