I just gave the local kids centre a one hour lesson in "Dramenglish". I think I have succeeded into successfully fused, drama, english, movement,play, gesture, expression, learning of vocabulary, verbs,nouns, prepositions, into an integrated subject. The only problem I face is curbing the kids enthusiasm, after each activity, so they can refocus and move on to the next one.Why learn a word, when you can act it out, become it, see it, participate in it. The kids here, speak very little English, so it was a completely TEFL method of physical teaching, that I last used with Kindergarten kids in Thailand :)) I want to develop it even more because it works !! :)
