I just get on fb and I have a message and also see a post that a friend of mine has passed away.I met Russ Walker on the internet in a artifact chat room about 9-10 years ago.We became friends.Russ made it to Texas to hunt artifacts with me.When he returned home,he told me he enjoyed the trip to hunt and enjoyed the company but it would be a long time before he came to hunt with me again.Seems like besides taking home a few Texas artifacts,he took home a good old case of Texas poison ivy with him (yes,I told him to be careful about the poison ivy where we were hunting).It was a running joke with Russ and I about Texas and calamine lotion.We kept in touch with each other over the years and now its sad to hear that I have lost a friend.Rest easy my friend,you will be missed by this Texan.
