I just got back from my doctors appt and Im a little miffed.. My red blood cell count (which was getting on the high side in August), my hematocrits, my neutrophils (which were also getting on the high side in August), my protein and my albumin levels were all out of range on the high side.. But the doctor seemed at a loss simply bc my thyroid was fine and he wants to put me on sleeping pills.. He finally ordered a sleep study when I argued that I never had trouble sleeping until I started getting sick and short of breath.. I really want a second opinion to see why my blood counts keep coming back higher and higher.. My last doctor was going to do a blood smear and more CBC testing with and without differentials, a urinalysis, etc but I moved and I lost my lab order in transition.. Does anyone know of a GREAT doctor in the central Florida area that will help me figure out whats wrong?!? Thanks guys for your help and prayers!!
