I just got clowned by my mother. I was telling her that her grandson starts Football Camp this weekend and she brought up the growing issues concerning concussions. (Ill spare you my NFL astro turf conspiracy) To which I said, well I played a great deal as a youth and in High School and I have no problems with allowing him to play, as long as his mother approved. Her next response was hilarious. Well, I don’t know anything about you playing a great deal. If you are talking about your senior year at Hyde Park High, it seems to me that when I attended your games, you were doing more posturing than anything else. SERIOUSLY!!!! Like that mom.??? How soon they forget and besides even if I did do some posturing it was well within my right to do so. My senior year I was the starting QB, starting CB and ran back kick offs. Boston City All Star on Defense and 1 vote shy of making the Shriners Game (State All-Star Game). Of course she doesnt remember any of that. I mean can you imagine ME posturing???? OK that was rhetorical.. ;) All she remembers is me being cute in pop warner, walking to the car like a beat up old man after games and of course posturing! haha Love that woman!
