I just got done watching Arbitrage, a 2010 movie starring Richard Gere, Susan Sarandon, and Tim Roth. It was a pretty quality movie. I wouldnt go out of my way to view this movie, but I would definitely recommend watching it once if the chance to do so presents itself. Dick Gere plays the protagonist anti-hero owner of a half a billion dollar blue chip company (a family opetated investment firm, I believe—that information is truly secondary to the plot) that he is attempting to sell. Tim Roth plays the dashing, spitfire young detective who will stop at nothing and cut ANY corner in order to bring Geres character down to his knees, eyes level to the crotch of the law. After the characters are fleshed out and introductions to the story are made, homicide and intrigue are mixed into the dramatic developments. Normally, Im not very much of a Richard Gere fan (Tim Roth kicks dirty ass though! Usually he does that AFTER he takes names, but he doesnt discriminate against kicking nameless ass either!), but he is actually pretty good in this flick. Im a fan of Dick now!!!!!!
