I just got home Wednesday from spending three nights in Mission - TopicsExpress

I just got home Wednesday from spending three nights in Mission Hospital due to low oxygen levels, low potassium and fatigue. The doctors have found the cause: there is a vein that has grown across my heart in the last thirty-eight years that is not allowing any oxygenated blood to pass through my body like it should. This little development was missed twice by the radiologist at MMC. The doctors always kept asking Mom if my oxygen always dropped that low (in the 80s) anytime I ever had any kind of surgery and we thought that it was just normal - and so did the other doctors (even my family doctors at the time). It turns out now that it wasnt normal. This can be corrected easily. I am scheduled for a heart catheter procedure in Atlanta, GA @ Emory Univeriity sometime very soon to find the problem and they may be able to correct it during the heart cath without me having to be put under and be opened up, thankfully. Im just requesting prayers for myself that everything will go smoothly and that they WILL find the problem and correct it during the heart cath so that I wont have to have any surgery. The doctor at the ER this past Sunday said that once I get this fixed, I should have a LOT more energy (at least half what I do now which will be a major improvement!) so - Im looking forward to that!! I hope and pray that EVERYONE had a fantastic Thanksgiving with your families/friends/loved ones. Weve all got a lot to be thankful for and I know that I dont thank Him enough for what Hes done for me. Anyhow, if you all would just please remember me in your prayers over the next little while, it would mean the world to me. I miss all of you and I miss seeing all of your bright, smiling faces on Sunday mornings. Take Care/God Bless/I Love Yall, Tony Trout
