I just got home from a long day at work after a minor stop at the BP to sort my car and buy a bite to eat. Just before walking into the shops to draw cash and buy my food I see a homeless women probably just older than myself hunched over sitting on the pavement near the door, with a ragged hoodie asking people if they could buy her bread or something to drink. I decide after drawing cash to buy my supper that Id buy her a sandwhich and a litle water too. I go outaide and find she has been told to go away. I walk to the end of the pavement where she is now sitting in the wind and cold and give her the water and sandwich and whatever coins I had on me. I have never seen someone so thankful and emotional over something I take for granted every day. She thanked me again and again and then walk away smiling with supper I bought for her. Feeling grateful and proud for what iv earned but blessed to have seen that look of gratitude from a stranger who has less than myself. I advise people give out of impulse to someone they see is trying and is ignored. Honestly the most rewarding feeling im experiencing right now that i had to share it
