I just got home from a two hour session with Conway dog trainer, Pam Padgett. She owns Conway Canine Companions, and offers basic obedience, agility, puppy kindergarten, canine good citizen, and therapy dog training. She also works one-on-one with you and your aggressive dog. Eight one hour general classes are $80, but mention ArkanPaws Animal Rescue and your price is $75. I took the Mountain Cur mix from under the bridge, and she quickly learned Sit and Down. While Pam was in the house with a student, I tested her out on the agility ramps, and she immediately learned them. She had no fear on either the tall ramp (6 tall or so), or on the long narrow one that is only about 12 wide, 4 tall and about 20 long! Pam said she will make a great agility dog -- she is very eager to please and attentive. She got to meet a German Shepherd puppy and did great, and I tested her with our two cats -- mildly curious but no problems at all. She also met five new kids tonight, including two boys that are 6 years old. She will make a great companion dog! ~Robin
