I just got off the phone with a friend who was a daughter with a bad attitude. However they are Spanish people (Dominican) and her teacher was trying to explain to them in Spanish (they pretend not to speak English well) that their daughter was failing Spanish and could not speak it well. So they scheduled a meeting with the principal. So of course her Spanish teacher (a white lady) was saying everything wrong and not really getting the information to the parents. So my friends husband began speaking Spanish at such a fast rate (normal for Dominicans) to both his daughter and the teacher. The teacher was totally lost and non participant in the conversation. Then he said in English how can this lady say that my baby failing Spanish when she did not realize that me and my daughter was just discussing what her mother is cooking for dinner.
