I just got off the phone with my daughter who is extremely upset and stressed out. She informed me that since the newscast people keeping sending her horrible texts and calling her. She’s upset about all the people who are arguing and debating since KATU ran their story. I know this isnt happening on this site but please share this with sites that you are on if you see this kind of behavior. It’s time for me to set the record straight so at least if people are going to continue doing this they will have their facts straight: ~ She did not contact KATU, they contacted her ~ She talked to the reporter because she was told the story was about the Fundraiser for Keegan and the town of Sheridan being so supportive. However the news spun it into something she never would have wanted. ~The news made numerous statements that were misquoted, left important parts out of the interview or were just wrong. They couldn’t even get the last name correct. We’re Hensley, not Henley or Henzley. ~She did not know or have any control that the news went to the school to interview people. ~ There is no bank account, even though it has been offered to her. There never was, there were never any plans to open one and there will never be one. This is another thing that the reporters got wrong. ~ Her family and the school are working together in a positive way and is moving forward She is getting major backlash during this already stressful time and it needs to stop. If you’re going to gossip, make nasty remarks or send texts at least have your facts correct. Better yet send me a message, I’ll be glad to talk to you. Please respect their wishes and keep it positive. God Bless
