I just got off the phone with this young man. What a heart, he was in San Diego today and went and put flowers on Marcs grave. the message below is from him. This is a first for me to post something like this on Facebook. I dont use this as a tool to share my personal views on life, but because of the topic, and the timing I have made an exception.....Over the years I have written alot of songs, and very rarely have I shared any of them with anyone. Last night I put pen to paper after being frustrated from reading comments made about the late Chris Kyle, a Navy veteran who was not so long ago murdered, and whos story is being portrayed in the soon to be released movie American Sniper, based off his book. I have seen several articles now, and even a discussion on the news since the pre-release comparing Chris to a Nazi, and calling him a murderer. I was shocked to read so many disrespectful comments. These people must be either extremely uneducated, or just straight up fools. There are to many folks that do not respect what these people do for us, realize what they sacrifice, and go through on a daily basis. Between this, and all the negativity recently towards law enforcement in this country I figured the song was appropriate to share. Its coming from the perspective of a soldier/officer towards the folks making these comments. Not one of my best in my opinion, but I think there is truth in it to be heard. I called it Nobody asked me To. Hope ya like it! Also, if you see someone in uniform, say thank you:) Freedom is not free. Bryce
