.....I just had a brief conversation with someone in reference to my preaching style, they came for me and I admit it but needless to say it’s their loss not mind. Their church only seat 5 people anyway and 3 are the children. We were discussing topic of interest of mine and that is love in the church and lack thereof, it came down to the point where I said something that blessed him and he said to me and I quote: “I would love to have you to come, but my people like preaching and you are not a preacher”. Back in 2012 I would have been offended by that statement but my response was “What people?” I will say that even though we live in an age where people require theatrics to get a good word across mean to me that you have disguised the effectiveness of what my word will bring to the people. I may not be able to sing, I may not be able to do riffs & runs but two things I definitely have is a WORD and an ANOINTING! Please be advised that I was trained by the best, and I don’t need your pulpit because their are people out there designated for my voice. While you preaching to selective people, I’m gathering the misfits. ENOUGH SAID!
