I just had one of those moments of confirmation that I am living the life intended for me. I had come from a great workout at the gym, sipping on my favorite blackberry hibiscus refresher drink at Starbucks, an hour at the Korean Spa, and then dinner at one of our favorite restaurants Bulan Thai Vegetarian Kitchen. When I came out of the restaurant, the weather could not have been more beautiful and it was sunset. I rolled down the windows and opened the sunroof listening to my favorite station Siriusly Sinatra. As I was heading home on Sunset Blvd, I came to a stop on the corner of Fountain Ave. I looked up ahead and the moon was full. I looked to my right and there was Akbar, where I first met Francisco. What happened next brought everything I was feeling together and I was overwhelmed with a complete sense of calm and happiness. At the risk of sounding sappy and uber-gay, as I sat there at the corner, Barbra Streisands version of Some Enchanted Evening came on the channel. It could have been any version frankly. What I had no words for, the song itself provided. The lyrics, Babs, the weather, the moon, the precise location, and my mood were completely and perfectly aligned. There are no accidents. THAT is bliss. And all is right with the world. Those moments are really amazing, arent they?
