I just had the best experience at the grocery store and I wanted - TopicsExpress

I just had the best experience at the grocery store and I wanted to share. It really is true that we should slow down and take our time and its also true what they say about how good we feel when we do something for other people. I feel amazing right now! I was waiting for my fish at the counter at the grocery store when a lady in a motorized scooter asked me to help her reach something so I did of course. She thanked me. Then a few minutes later I saw her in another aisle trying to grab chicken out of the case and she was fumbling with it so I went over and asked her if I could help her again. She seemed very grateful because she was trying to pick up the packages to see which was the right one for her and she was having trouble reaching in there. So I read her the different packages and we found the one that she needed and then she went off on her way again. Then toward the end of my shopping trip I saw her in the frozen section and she waved me down and asked for help again trying to find some frozen dinners because she couldnt find the right ones. Again I stopped and read them to her and help her and she was very grateful again. When I was about to go check out I realize that I just kept thinking about her and hoping that she had gotten everything else she needed because I saw a list in her hand. So I left the checkout aisle and went up and down many aisles in the store looking for her. I finally saw her heading for the check out and I was glad that I had made sure that she had everything she needed before I checked out. such a small thing to me was such a big thing to her and it made my heart feel so full. God definitely knows what we need some times and he can send us to people that we may meed to help , who need our help in return! Im grateful I didnt rush and even though it took more time out of my day that I needed to do things, I needed this more :)
