I just had to share. My 75 year old father is a crossing guard for one of the local elementary schools. I was talking to my parents about the teal pumpkin project the other day and they informed me that for Halloween my dad has purchased small Halloween bags, a bunch of small Halloween toys, pencils, etc and some candy. They are making up little treat bags for all the kids that he crosses. They made sure the candy is nut free but packed the bags with enough stuff that each kid will have something other than candy to enjoy. I guess thats what happens when two of your four grandchildren are pn/tn. I just thought it was a cute thing for him to do!
