I just have to point out something that caught my attention this weekend (and last week, but I only now have a minute to ponder the notion): Many of the very same people who railed so strongly against the idea of private citizens owning guns (and agreeing with the idea of banning certain ones based on cosmetic features, magazine capacity, etc.) stated that they felt that only the government (police, military) are now making a new point. In the wake of the shooting/choking/police are the Devil news bytes of late, these same people are questioning (if not outright railing against) the wisdom of entrusting our safety to these people. Am I the only one who sees the miles of stupidity in that?? Is it just that these people are the Cause-heads from the movie PCU? (If you havent seen it, we simply should not be friends. Go watch it!) They just have nothing better to do than get riled up for a cause for as long as its front-page news, then move on when their preferred news outlet does, and contradict themselves by backing/railing against another cause the next week because said outlet says they should be upset? I really just dont like people anymore...
