I just heard Chris Matthews define the Presidents position thusly; Once again, an American president will be perceived as killing Muslims, because some of them have been doing terrible things, and some have been. Theyve been beheading our people. ~ WRONG!! ~ Its not about us. ISIS beheaded two of our people and a Brit. But theyve also beheaded many, many hundreds, if not thousands of Muslims; both Sunni and Shia, Christians and Yazidis. If in fact we enter into yet another protracted war in the Levant, it *CANNOT* be because a few bad guys murdered a handful of our guys. The argument must be made that its for global humanitarian purposes, because ISIS has proven itself to be an equal opportunity terrorist organization – terrorizing, raping, murdering and enslaving people of all stripes – or this campaign is doomed to fail. And Chris Matthews needs to switch to decaf, for cryin out loud.
