I just heard a news story on KRLD in Dallas where they made multiple references to The Democrat Party. So I posted the following message on KRLDs Facebook page; Ill let you know if I get any response from them. * * * * * * * * * * Your news writers need to stop listening to right-wing talk radio. There is NO SUCH THING as The Democrat Party - its The Democratic Party. The Democrat Party is a term that was made popular by Senator Joseph McCarthy back in the 50s as a means to insult Democrats, and many Republicans and people like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and others have adopted its use. Most Democrats find the term highly offensive. Individually we are Democrats, but our party is the Democratic Party. Thank You.
