I just learned that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, a good Kappa and a black man, was fined for saying nigger during a verbal joust with a Chicago Bears player last week. Kaepernick was hammered per Rule 12, Section 3 of the NFL Rule Book which proscribes in pertinent part, “abusive, threatening or insulting language or gestures to opponents, teammates, officials or representatives of the League. Was such the right decision? Or should black players be immune for penalty for using said term?
