I just made what I think is the best chili in the universe. It took over 3 hours to prepare, and will be cooking for 6 hours overnight. 30 minutes before serving I have to add chopped fresh cilantro leaves and fresh parsley leaves! I found the recipe after an hour of searching and added my own spin on it. I cant give away the recipe but it contains: chili powder, whole cumin seeds, cayenne, ground cinnamon, Fosters Beer, Apple Cider, oregano, bay leaves brown sugar, boneless beef chuck, ground black pepper, kosher salt, vegetable oil, onions, celery, garlic cloves, jalapeno chiles, tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, semisweet chocolate, masa harina. Amy said it was wonderful, and that was before it simmered over night :) The Chili Cook-Off is tomorrow, wish me luck.
