I just opened a letter from the President of Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in which he announces the Seminarys intention to sell its campus and move to southern California. It would have been a more convincing letter if he had not dated the letter April 1. I am sure the sale is for real, though, as he explains how the school has tried to expand numerous times and has been stymied by government bodies and planning boards. The school will keep a northern California presence. The school is in Mill Valley in Marin County, atop a hill overlooking Sausalito and Tiburon, facing the 101 bridge between Sausalito and Mill Valley and super-prime real estate.
