I just overheard some idiot say the reason women brcome feminists is because they dont have a real man (as he rocks a lopsided fade n in what i imagine was a demonstration of his manly machismo puff up his chest) to bring home the wood and the bacon. Im sure youre wondering if i throat punched him. I didnt. Instead i left him a strongly worded note on my starbucks napkin. Even more disturbing was that he was sitting in the company of two women who outside being visibly offended by his comments n giving him a side eye said nothing. I need for men of all ages to accept that feminism like the civil rights movement is a byproduct of years of oppression. It will not go away through expressions of machismo in which u attempt to devalue the contributions thoughts and feelings of your female counterparts. Before you lecture women about accepting her primitive roles as baby makers and embracing feminity understand that these same women continue to do all those things all the while carryin around bigger balls than u.
