I just posted this on a status, but I thought it might be of interest to some of you, as well: In regards to a films star ratings on IMDB, it is well-known that the top users on IMDB use bots that automatically go through and rate new films one star. Thats how you get people with 10,000 ratings. Thats why we encourage cast/crew to rate 10 stars. Is FAT CHANCE a 10-star film? Well, of course not ... but you have to offset the negative stars in the beginning. Eventually, once enough reviews have come in, it will even out and youll have a number that more accurately reflects the film. THE HOSPITAL is like a 3.8 and Im pretty comfortable with that considering what kind of film it is and the technical issues we had.
