I just read Mr. Presidents headline comment in one of Nigerias newspapers... I dont have to visit Chibok. I think dat statement (if true) was unpresidential and unstatesmanly . I wont want to say uncharitable and irresponsible. as a friend suggested here. Severally, despite my discomfort (discomfiture) about many of his pronouncements, I had had to persuade people to give d Président a chance....cos of d immense challenges that come with rulling a complex country like Nigeria...But now, I dont know anymore. Mr. Président, let me ask: Did u have to attend d burial rights of Reuben Abati Mother??? Its all about CARE and showing GREAT CONCERN for a highly traumatised nation. Its about statesmanship, leadership and responsibility. Even if u go and d worse happens, u stand to gain more than alive. U r d commander-in-chief and Président of d country. No sacrifice Is too much for ur countrymen. Turn ur threats to opportunities dear Mr. Président. And concert ur weaknesses to strengths. Dont let ur enemies and sceptics continue to assume u are too weak for leadership. I hâte to hear several innuendoes about ur shortcomings Our dear Président. Nigérians want a VERY STRONG Président...in thoughts and in action...in peace and war. I love u Mr. Président. But remember...@ dis time of our national existence, ur comfort is no priority. GOD bless u. By Tunde Imolehin GOD bless Nigeria.
