NYC, NY. 2 SR Cats Need Place ASAP! Owner Died. Contact: (deenbean7@gmail) My friend Bob passed away 3 wks ago. Bob was a long-time activist and rescuer and a wonderful man. He never turned away from an animal in need and was always there to lend a hand if a cat needed fostering or a baby bird fell from a nest. He leaves behind 2 wonderful cats who are being boarded at a vets office but cannot stay there much longer. Please crosspost and network for these babies. THANKYOU! Location is nyc. Many had fallen out over the years so they each have only one or two left now. Its ok, they are eating both hard and soft food just fine! >>>> Patrick (the blue-gray kitty) is now in perfect health, and with a month or so of good nutrition and vitamins his coat will be glossy and gorgeous. Luigi (white/tabby) has a growth on his lower jaw which was biopsied and revealed to be a non-cancerous bony growth. Thus Luigi also has a clean bill of health. They were both just vaccinated. Nine yrs ago when they were rescued they had tested neg for fiv/felv and had no exposure to other cats since then. They must be placed together as they are a bonded pair, possibly even brothers. I suppose one would classify Luigi as half-feral because he doesnt like to be touched although he has been reluctantly allowing me to pet him gently. He never ever tries to bite or scratch, even when being handled /treated by the vet. He merely tries to flee. Bob said Luigi adores Patrick , so since patrick slept on bed with Bob, Luigi would too, but only to be near Patrick, lol. >>>> Patrick is mr. personality- a real charmer and quite affectionate. These sweet and gentle cats are sad and obviously miss Bob terribly, but they are responsive to attention and love and will make wonderful companions to someone . Luigi will blossom, I am sure.
