I just read a letter out loud (fighting through my tears and shaky voice) to my son over the phone. While he has been in Laramie this was the first time as a mother that I have admitted that Im not perfect and that I too have made mistakes. After hanging up the phone I am looking back at this crazy, sad, interesting and happy year. I have had to move my son to a different state. Ive had to suck it up and give him the toughest love Ive ever had to give. Ive showed Marley how to be a strong girl and help her through this as well. Ive given another year to a great boss & co-workers. I am in the best relationship that I have ever had. Ive had to let go of some toxic friends and family relationships. To those people who have whispered behind my back or laughed at me (without really knowing the truth) I wish you nothing but perfectness, health and happiness in the New Year to come. I truly know who my friends, family & loved ones are. If you have been by my side and stuck through my struggles, joys and fears in 2014 I THANK YOU!! So as I let this year go I look forward to 2015.
