I just read a text that came in late last night. The doctor just diagnosed my father as being deaf. Doesnt that come as a complete shock to those who know and love Captain John? I think that doctor must be up for a Nobel Prize with that diagnosis. My prayer is it helps get rid of the barrier to conversation I have with Him. But did any of the rest of you who know Pop ever even think he was hard of hearing?
