I just read an interesting article on CNN about recent remarks from the new Pope. Ive never understood why so much food goes to waste. Being part of the hospitality industry nearly all my life, I have watched so much food be thrown in the trash. It happens at our theme parks, restaurants, shopping malls and convention center everyday. I think it would be interesting to see if we could create a program to safely transport unused food to shelters or people in need. If we can do it with unused shampoo, conditioner, and soap... Why not food. There should never be anyone hungry or malnourished in this day and age.
