I just recently found out about this dangerous growing practice earlier this year. This explains a lot about why I, was able to eat wheat products overseas, but got sick there while eating imported American products that contained wheat. I am able to eat organic wheat products, but conventional wheat products make me ill. Im so glad this information has become more public so people can start connecting the dots between our foods and autoimmune and chronic disease and infertility problems that have been on the rise in this country for years. It is now even more important to eat as healthy as possible and choose products from sources that you can ask their growing practices face-to-face. Know your farmer, Know your food! The healthier you eat, the better you will feel, and the better your body will be able to cope with the bad foods that slip into your diet from restaurants or eating on-the-go. Its all about balance!
