I just sat down on the sofa with Stella to do her nails and trim the hair from her feet. As I started, with the scissors, for some reason I started to whistle. The tune, I know not why, was Wouldnt It Be Lovely. Stella looked up at me so sweetly and just totally melted, completely relaxed (she is on her back in my arms for the procedure). Well then along comes Plum who jumped up on the ottoman and proceeded to gaze into my eyes while cocking her head back and forth. Then she laid down and put her head on my knee and stayed right there until I was done. Percy came along side too, watching very sweetly. Most curious of all though was Ptoe, my cat, who came up on the arm of the sofa then moved down next to Stella and started purring and softly meowing. Plum and Stella never giving him the slightest notice - very unusual. Stella nearly fell asleep while I finished, and I decided to leave off the dremel process till tomorrow so as not to break the spell. ;) Anyway it was so gosh darn cute I just had to share it and I so badly wish I could have gotten a picture of the whole surreal scene!
