I just saw Her and it was beyond what I was expecting. It was a really beautiful and touching film on multiple levels. I loved the score and cinematography, which were gorgeous, but even more, I loved Joaquin Phoenixs performance- so realistic and full of humanity. Scarlet Johanssons operating system Samantha was really well acted- I just learned that Samantha Morton originally recorded and filmed the movie and Spike Jonze felt something wasnt right, so, with her blessing, had Scarlett do a total voice-over, which makes her performance even more impressive. Also, the friendship between Amy Adams and Joaquin was very touching and realistic.
