I just saw Pennhurst is a haunted house. This makes me think back to the nights we would sneak in and explore that place. I can just remember the few crazy things we saw: the wet bare footprint in the tunnel, the actual rocking chair that was rocking when we first walked into the room, the crazy noises we would hear in the tunnel intersections and the shadow moving in the auditorium. Even the rooms we found that were their surgery and experiment rooms. Not to mention the close call we had almost being caught as the military hummer creeped by looking for trespassers and we hid 6ft from it in the bushes. To hear they have a haunted attraction that makes me so excited to go relive that place and those memories but nothing can scare me like the real feeling that place drove into my brain.
